    • 2.2. Additional Grounds for Processing

      • Consent: Where required by law, we will seek your explicit consent for specific processing purposes (e.g., sending direct marketing communications via email). You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us or using the provided opt-out options.

      • Aggregate Information: We may aggregate your personal information with that of other users to produce general statistics that cannot be linked to you. Once aggregated or de-identified in a manner that prevents re-identification, such information is no longer considered personal information.       • With Our Affiliates: We share your information with WTD Now affiliates for internal purposes, including providing Services and improving WTD Now Platform. Affiliates will use your information for purposes consistent with this Policy, including improving WTD Mow Platform and providing Services. Where required by law, we will seek your consent before sharing your information for their independent marketing or advertising purposes.

      • With our Hosts: Users who publish and offer services on our platform (each a “Host” and collectively, “Hosts”) and their affiliates, when you make a service request through the Services, including when you make a reservation or if you provide feedback about your Host service experience through us, such as via a survey. When we disclose your information to a Host for the purposes of facilitating your Host service request, the Host is collecting and processing your personal information as a controller and your personal information is subject to its privacy policy and practices. In connection with your service request, we will provide the Host certain categories of your information including: your name, dining or service profile, date and time of visit, your contact details, service preferences, party size and any other information you provide at the time of your reservation or feedback. We or the Host may share your information with their affiliates (e.g., other Hosts) to enhance the hospitality such Hosts provides you when you use their services, to provide you with customized service and to improve the Host's services. By interacting with you, the Host and their affiliates may, as permitted by applicable law, share your information with their partners to support operations, such as to perform analytics and tailor marketing to you.

      • With Our Group Companies: We share your information with our group companies (such as subsidiaries and affiliates) for the purposes described above, to provide integrated Services, and for marketing purposes, including offers or communications that may interest you.

      • With Other Business Partners: We may share your information with trusted third-party business partners, including online advertisers or ad technology companies, to deliver targeted advertisements where permitted by law. You may opt out of such sharing by following the instructions in the Your Choices and Rights section.

      • With Social Networking Services: Our platform allows you to connect and share your information publicly through social networking services. When you use our Services to connect with us on social media or share content, we may share information (e.g., your profile details) with social networking services in line with your chosen preferences.     • 3.1. Our Role as Data Controller and Processor

      For purposes of applicable data protection laws, WTD Now acts as a data controller when we determine the purposes and means of processing your personal information (e.g., contact details and transaction data). In specific cases where we process personal information on behalf of our Guests and partners, we act as a data processor under their instructions, as defined by our agreements.

    • 3.2. Sharing with Our Group Companies

      We may share your information with our affiliates and subsidiaries worldwide. For cross-border transfers, we implement appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses in the context of the transfer of your personal information into a jurisdiction with less stringent personal data protection laws) to protect your data. While we employ robust security measures to protect your data, we acknowledge that no system can be entirely secure. We encourage you to use additional security tools, such as enabling two-factor authentication and using secure networks when accessing WTD Now Platform. This can include using tools such as internet firewalls, secure email, and other security technologies.

      While we strive to protect your data, WTD Now assumes no liability for any disclosure due to errors in transmission, unauthorized third-party access, or other causes beyond our control, except where liability cannot be excluded or limited by law.

    • 4.2 Your Role in Keeping Information Secure

      It’s important that you keep your WTD Now account secure. Please do not share your username, password, or any other security information associated with your account. If we receive instructions using your credentials, we will assume that they were authorized by you. If you believe that your account’s security has been compromised, please contact us immediately, as detailed in the How to Contact Us section below.

    • 4.3 Data Retention

      We may retain your personal information for as long as your account is active and you comply with the Terms of Service. After your account becomes inactive or discontinue accessing the WTD Now Platform, we may retain your contact information for up to seven years to comply with legal obligations, audit requirements, and address any outstanding issues.
